Gunman flees with drugs from Scottsdale pharmacy

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Scottsdale police are looking for a gunman who fled a CVS pharmacy with a supply of drugs.

Officers said the man entered the store at 10010 N. Scottsdale Rd. at 8 a.m. Tuesday and handed a note to the pharmacy clerk demanding  Oxycodone and Xanax.

The man lifted his shirt to display a black handgun in his waistband, police said.

The clerk handed over the drugs, and the man fled the store on foot.

The suspect is described as having a dark complexion and 30 to 40 years old. He is between 5'10" and 6' tall with an average build.

The man was last seen wearing a dark hat, an orange jacket and blue jeans.
