TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

We're learning a lot more about a Tucson man who has been missing since Tuesday night.

30-year-old Thomas Pimper left to go to a convenience store and never came back.

Police say he had driven to the Circle K on Broadway at Cherry where evidence shows he purchased some things.

Pimper is engaged and the father of a six-month old baby named River.

"Very unusual for him because he has River. He has Jennifer. He wouldn't--they're his world. He wouldn't walk out on them," says Pimper's mother, Shelly, who came out from California when she and her husband learned their only son was missing.

"He left without any identification. He has no wallet. He has no cell phone. He did take the car and an ATM card," Shelly Pimper says.

Pimper also left without his prescription medication that his family says he needs daily for a digestion condition.

Tucson police say they don't suspect foul play, but they are concerned about Pimper's wellbeing.

"It's a little concerning that somebody of that age without any kind of mental issues or anything or any mental problems to leave without contacting anyone, including his work," says Tucson Police Sergeant Pete Dugan. "We've gotten a few calls from some people that have said that they may have seen him--detectives are following up on that right now-- but nothing that has led us to his whereabouts."

Pimper's mother and fiancee say this isn't like him, and that he had seemed fine earlier in the evening.

His mom says the entire family was even making vacations plans.

To say the least, Pimper's disappearance is taking a toll.

"Everybody who loves you, Thomas, is looking and we want you to come home," Shelly says through tears.

Thomas Pimper is white, six feet tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

He has brownish blond hair that he usually shaves off, and a beard.

He's has blue eyes and he wears glasses.

Pimper was driving a dark blue, 2005 4-door Honda Civic.

The paint is peeling on the trunk.

The license plate is A-Z-W-2-7-6-0

Police ask anyone who sees Pimper or his car to call 911 immediately.
