SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg police said they are looking for the man who broke into a woman's home but fled the scene when she returned home.

The woman reported the burglary Sunday about 7 p.m. She told police she had only been gone about 45 minutes and returned to her Brawley Street home to find someone inside.

She said when she opened her front door, she heard someone who then took off running out the back door, according to police.

Police said the only thing missing from the home was a TV. According to police, the burglar was seen leaving the TV at a vacant home on Folsom Street and left that home in an older model red Pontiac.

Police said they were able to track the suspect with dogs from the victim's home to the vacant home but did not find him.

Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
