UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Union police charged a woman after it was reported that she rammed a car and threw a tire iron through its window while her ex-boyfriend and their two infant children were inside.

On Sunday, the victim reported to police that he was driving when he passed his ex-girlfriend, 20-year-old Keyonna Palmer, who started to follow him down Main Street in Union after noticing another woman in the car with him, according to the incident report.

The victim reported that Palmer followed him before getting in front of them and slamming on the brakes in an attempt to make him crash into her, the incident report said. The victim said she attempted to do this several times.

At one point, Palmer got out of the car on Toney Road and started slapping the windows and yelling at the victim as he drove around her, the report stated.

When the victim stopped at the stop sign on Toney Road and Thompson Boulevard, Palmer came up behind the victim's 1989 Dodge Diplomat and hit him with her 2004 Ford Escape, the report said.

The victim then turned onto Thompson Boulevard when Palmer rammed his car again, the report said. The victim told police he was on the phone with 911 dispatchers through the whole ordeal.

According to the report, the man then entered the Church of God parking lot and she followed him in and began yelling at him.

The victim then told Palmer that he was on the phone with police and they were on the way.

Palmer then yelled an obscenity and threw a tire iron through the front passenger door window and left the parking lot, according to the report.

The victim told police he and Palmer's 2- and 3-year-old children were inside the car during the incident.

Palmer has been charged with unlawful conduct toward a child and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, according to warrants.
