Church burglary suspect in custody

FLAT ROCK, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies in Henderson County said a man accused of breaking into and stealing from a church in Moore County was taken into custody.

Henderson County deputies said warrant officers found Curtis Hardy, 32, of Cameron, hiding out in a basement in the Flat Rock area Wednesday.

Hardy is charged in Moore County with breaking and entering into a place of worship, safe cracking, larceny, possession of stolen goods, and forgery.

Deputies said Hardy is currently being held in the Henderson County Detention Facility under a $23,000 bond.
