Deputies investigating suspicious activity directed at young girls.

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Buncombe County Deputies are asking the public to be on the lookout for two men as they investigate reports of suspicious activity directed at young girls.

Deputies said the first incident occurred in the Emma community on March 12 around 3:30 p.m.

A second incident that occurred Friday on Riceville Road and may be related, deputies said.

Several girls reported they ran from both scenes after two white males drove up to them as they were walking, and ordered the girls to get into the car with them, according to deputies.

Deputies are asking people to be on the lookout for a white, mid-sized, four-door car that may be driven by a balding man with glasses, male who is balding and wears glasses or a man with a long beard near area bus stops.

Deputies ask anyone who sees suspicious behavior near bus stops or who has information about the case to contact the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers at (828) 255-5050.
