DUNCAN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg County deputies said they arrested two suspects accused of attempting to steal a four-wheeler on Saturday.

Deputies said they were called to Highway 290 after the victim called deputies to report two males had stolen the four-wheeler and that the victim was chasing the men who were driving a blue Ford Ranger.

Deputies said they were able to intercept the vehicle and perform a traffic stop in the parking lot of Nazareth Presbyterian Church.

Deputies said the victim said the suspects may be armed, so deputies approached the Ford Ranger with guns drawn and detained the suspects in accordance with high risk traffic stop procedures.

The victim told deputies the four-wheeler had fallen out of the suspect's vehicle and onto Bethany Church Road during the pursuit.

Deputies said they were able to locate the four-wheeler and returned it to the victim.

Deputies said the men in the truck were taken into custody and charged.

Deputies said Levi Pearson was charged with larceny first offense and Christopher Ruggieri was charged with larceny enhanced.
