HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

There is a Grand World Champion roaming the streets of Hendersonville, NC.

Josh Hainsel, 13, has claimed the title at the Speed Stacking World Championship last year, and he is out to defend his crown in a series of competitions in the near future.

Speed stacking is the sport of stacking patterns of cups, stacking them into a single pile and then creating a pattern of them again.

Hainsel is one of the best in The Cycle competition, one of the most difficult disciplines of the sport.

On his Josh Hainsel YouTube page you can check out how created three different "stacks" in 5.187 seconds.

In the coming months, he heads to the Mid-Atlantic regional championship in Baltimore, MD, then the national championship in Kansas City, MO, leading up to the world championship in Seoul, South Korea.
