Siblings accused of puppy theft face charges in Pickens Co. burglary

PICKENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Three of the four siblings charged with stealing puppies from Anderson County PAWS are also charged with a burglary that occurred a week earlier in Pickens County, according to the Pickens County Sheriff's Office. 

Cassidey Lewis, 19; Taylor Lewis, 17 and Randall Lewis, 20 were charged with third degree burglary and simple larceny for the incident that occurred on March 5 in Easley, according to warrants.

Warrants said, on March 4, the three are accused of kicking down the door of D's Decorative on Highway 153 in Easley and stealing a flat screen television.

The sheriff's office said the three turned themselves in on March 13 and were released the same day on $7,000 personal recognizance bonds.

The day before they turned themselves in for the burglary in Pickens County, two men and two woman stole three puppies from Anderson County PAWS.

Deputies released surveillance images from the theft that led to the three siblings and their brother Kenneth Lewis, 22, being charged with the crime.
