Lanes reopen after gas line rupture on Highway 14 in Greer

GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A gas line rupture in Greer closed several lanes of Highway 14 on Friday afternoon.

Dispatchers said crews working at the Quik Trip construction site dug too deep and hit the gas line. 

Two of three southbound lanes were closed at 2:15 p.m., dispatchers said.

The road was reopened shortly after.
