GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A person fleeing from deputies collided with another car on Friday sending all occupants to the hospital, according to Jonathan Smith of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.

Smith said deputies tried to pull the car over for a traffic violation when the female driver fled.

The car then ran a stop sign and collided with another car off Cedar Lane Road on Hayneswoth Street in Riverside, according to Smith.

Smith said they did not chase the vehicle.

He said everyone in both cars was taken to the hospital, but their condition was unknown at the time we spoke with him.

The driver will be charged with failure to stop for blue lights, Smith said.

Smith said the car was not stolen.
