Cold air pushes into the area Sunday night as lows drop into the lower 30s and upper 20s. Skies will remain mostly clear.
Monday will host sunny skies as high pressure takes control but remains cool as more cold air spills in. Highs will remain in the mid to lower 50s throughout the afternoon.
A low pressure system will develop over Florida and track north just off the coast of the Carolinas. The latest models have lowered the snow chances for the Upstate, switching it to mostly rain, but western North Carolina still can see snow throughout the day.
We expect accumulations to be minimal with the ground being relatively warm and rain mixing in. In terms of timeframe, we are looking at early Tuesday, so the morning commute may be affected.
Sun will return on Wednesday with temperatures beginning to warm up once again.
