GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Village Hospital in Greer has a new name, Spartanburg Regional Healthcare Systems announced Monday.

The hospital has been renamed Pelham Medical Center.

The change comes after the hospital added new services including the Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute and the physicians of the Medical Group of the Carolinas.

"As a part of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, this campus is a part of larger system. When we work as a team, we're able to provide a full spectrum of services to our patients, not just in Greer, but also across the Upstate," said Anthony Kouskolekas, president of Pelham Medical Center.
