But, it's how he did it that's catching so much buzz online.
"Over the summer I was working in Myrtle Beach and as I was riding the SkyWheel. I looked out and that this would be the perfect place. I imagined in my head as I looked out over the beach the words, 'Ashley will you marry me?'" explained Talmage.
Talmage said it took a lot of planning to get Clark down to the beach. And, he said about 20 close friends and family helped him set it all up.
"In fact, once we started setting up the bags with the tea candles, people out on the beach and in hotel rooms saw us and pitched in. By the time we were done we had close to 100 people helping set it all up."

Talmage said they've set a tentative date in June of 2015.
