The days ahead will see a slight warming in temperatures, getting us close to normal by Friday.
Skies will be partly cloudy on Thursday with highs peaking in the upper 50s, flirting with the 60 degree mark.
By Friday, highs will approach the mid-60s which is what we normally see during the last week of March. A low pressure system over the great lakes will generate a cold front that will impact the Carolinas.
We can expect to see rain for both the Upstate and western NC on Friday starting in the morning and sticking around throughout the day.
Saturday will see a second low pressure system effect our area as it tracks from Arkansas to Virginia, sweeping just north of the Carolinas. This system can bring some potential thunder storms into the area Saturday afternoon.
Temperatures for Saturday will be warmer still, approaching 70 in the upstate while the mountains remain in the lower 60s. Sunday into next week will see temperatures settle in the mid to upper 60s and mostly sunny skies.
