GAFFNEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Gaffney police are warning store owners and cashiers to be on the lookout for three people attempting to use a stolen credit card on Wednesday.

Gaffney police said on their Facebook page that the two men and a woman attempted to use a stolen card to purchase gift cards.

Police said they used the stolen numbers at two locations in Gaffney just after 3 p.m.

Police asked clerks to compare the numbers printed on the receipt to the actual numbers on the card. They said the numbers will not match.

Anyone who sees the people in the picture is asked to contact Detective Lt. Ron Ramsey at 864-206-3320 or to contact their local law enforcement.
