TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A murder suspect for whom Toledo Police had been searching for more than a month was arraigned in court Thursday, but not for murder charges.

Tyrone Hoskins Jr., 23, was arrested and charged Thursday in the February death of Michael Williams Jr.

The victim was shot in the head and a leg on Feb. 2 in the 1500 block of Ottawa Drive.

The Toledo Police Gang Unit found Hoskins at home along the 3500 block of Mayo Street just after midnight Thursday. The unit had received details of the suspect's whereabouts.

During the arrest, police also uncovered three bags of heroin in Hoskins' pocket. He was arraigned on drug charges Thursday morning. His bond was set at $10,000.

Hoskins' booking comes after police issued a warrant for his arrest when he failed to appear for his court arraignment at the Lucas County Common Pleas Court Wednesday. His bond was set at $1,000,000.

Hoskins is expected to be formally arraigned on that murder charge on April 2 in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

Hoskins was the last outstanding murder suspect in Toledo out of this year's three homicides. At one point, he was communicating with police on Facebook, proclaiming his innocence.

Rishad Williams, the other man police say was involved the shooting, turned himself in March 3.
