Chesterfield Police arrested a man wanted in the robbery of the Food Lion.

The Food Lion robbery occurred on March 26, 2014, in the 5700 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

Police said at about 8:45 p.m., a male suspect approached a store clerk at the Food Lion and threatened to harm her if she did not give him money from her register. The clerk left the counter to alert other employees. The suspect then removed the register drawer and fled the scene.

An investigation led police to Timothy John Fagnani as a suspect in the robbery. Fagnani, 38, was arrested Friday at the Super 8 Motel, in  the 8600 block of Midlothian Turnpike.
