GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Four people have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery of a couple in a parking lot in Greenville, police announced on Friday.

According to warrants, on March 21, Laquan Harley, 20, and Sydney Griffen, 22, approached the victims in a church parking lot on South Main Street and demanded their belonging, while holding what appeared to be a gun.

On March 23, Harley and 19-year-old Shambray Carroll attempted to use a credit card from one of the victims at 1800 Augusta Rd. in the city, according to warrants.

Keith Lamar Watkins Jr. has also been charged with financial transaction card theft in connection with the incidents.

Public information officer Johnathan Bragg said Carroll, Griffen and Harley were arrested in October of 2013 in connection with a shooting outside Dixie's Tavern on E. North Street.
