SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg Police said a man was charged after a driver claimed the suspect pointed a gun at him while stopped at a traffic signal.

Officers said Thomas O'Meara, 27, of Spartanburg was charged with pointing and presenting a firearm Friday.

Officers said Wednesday evening O'Meara got out of his vehicle at the intersection of Fernwood Drive and Woodburn Road and pointed a gun at a driver who had been following him through several intersections.

Police said the other driver snapped several photos of O'Meara and his vehicle before driving away.
