COLUMBUS, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff's Office said they have made two arrests in connection with recent break-ins on Dogwood Trail following a traffic stop.

Deputies said they found items that had been reported stolen from a home on Dogwood Trail on March 18 during the traffic stop, which took place Thursday on Highway 9.

Deputies said a search warrant for a residence on Collinsville Road led them to recover other stolen items.

Sheriff Donald Hill said more charges may be forthcoming "Investigators are currently looking into other recent Breaking and enterings that could be related to the individuals now in custody," Hill said.

The suspects were identified as Jeremy and Jessica Hembree of 282 Collinsville Road, according to deputies.

The Hembrees were both charged with a number of charges, including felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods.

Jeremy and Jessica Hembree are both being held in the Polk County Detention Center on bond. Deputies said the Hembrees are scheduled to make their first appearance in court on the 28th.
