Clear skies will allow overnight lows to drop in to upper 30s across the upstate and lower 30s in western North Carolina. Winds will slowly let up as well, becoming gentle by Monday morning.
Monday will see mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures. We will likely see highs climb into the lower to mid-70s area wide.
Winds will be mainly out of the southwest between five and 10 miles per hour in the upstate while the mountains will see winds out of the northwest between five and 10 miles per hour.
Tuesday will see warmer temperatures pour into the Carolinas, reaching the mid to upper 70s. We will flirt with the 80 degree mark by Wednesday. Clouds will build on Thursday and our next chance of rain and thunderstorms will be on Friday.
