Clemson police said they have arrested a 19-year-old in connection with more than a dozen car break-ins Friday night.

Clemson City Police said the break-ins happened between Friday night and early Saturday morning in the College Heights area. They said most of the cars were left unlocked.

Forensic evidence connected investigators to Bradley Williams Jr., of Clemson, Police Chief Jimmy Dixon said.

Dixon said Williams was found Saturday morning with some of the items reported stolen.

Williams was charged with one count grand larceny, one count petit larceny and 17 counts of breaking into a motor vehicle.
