Another very warm day is in store for Wednesday. Highs will approach record levels in the Upstate. The old record for April 2 is 84 in 1986, and highs are expected to reach 84 in the Upstate on Wednesday. The mountains will get to around 80, which would be short of the record.
Clouds will build in through Thursday, but highs will still be warm. Temperatures will reach the low 80s for the Upstate and upper 70s in the mountains.
Rain pushes in Friday with a cold front, and a few thunderstorms will also be possible. Rain should push out by early in the weekend, leaving temperatures slightly cooler.
