Manufacturer investing $14M in new Greer plant

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

An automotive and aerospace specialty manufacturer is investing $14.8 million with the creation of a new Greenville County facility.

Precorp's expansion will create at least 29 new jobs at the Greer location on South Batesville Road.

Precorp Inc. is a member of the Machining Solutions Group of Sandvik. Construction is underway for the 60,000 square-foot facility and expect to open in early 2015.

The company provides machining solutions to the automotive and aerospace industries. Hiring information has not yet been released but positions that will be filled include CNC-controlled cutter-operators and mechanical drafters, among other positions. 

Interested candidates may apply in person at Remedy Staffing offices in Greer or Easley, or at Adecco staffing offices in Greenville.
