Another very warm April day is in store for us. Highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80s area-wide, when we are typically in the 60s this time of year. Expect mostly cloudy skies for the morning, then sunshine by afternoon.
Our thunderstorm threat will start going up, just like the temperatures. On Thursday the mountains could see a couple of pop-up thunderstorms, while the Upstate should remain dry. Friday will bring a better rain chance area-wide. Any storm that forms could pack strong winds and small hail.
Rain moves out by Saturday morning, which will leave us with a nice weekend. Highs will be a bit cooler in the 60s and 70s.
