ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A collision on Interstate 85 caused traffic problems in Anderson County on Friday afternoon.

According to the Highway Patrol website, the collision happened just after 3 p.m. near mile marker 33 and blocked the roadway for a period of time.

Troopers said a truck pulling a box trailer had a tire blow out, causing the driver to lose control, hit the median wall and run off the right side of the road into some trees.

The driver was traveling with two dogs and one of them went missing after the collision.

The dog has not been located on Friday night.

Troopers said the missing dog is a medium sized mixed breed that is tan in color.

No charges have been filed against the driver.
