SIMPSONVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies are working to identify a man they said used a bank card that belonged to a Midlands woman at the Simpsonville Target.

On March 7, Greenville County deputies said the man tried to check out at the Fairview Road store, but the card was declined.

Deputies said the man in the Nike sweatshirt used a card belonging to a woman in Columbia who still had her bank card in her possession, so investigators are trying to figure out how he got her number.

Deputies said they are working to identify that man as a suspect in the case.

Investigators ask anyone who can identify the man or have information about the case to call Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
