Dive team, deputies work to pull car from North Saluda River

MARIETTA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies and the dive team are working to pull a car out of the North Saluda River near Marietta Thursday morning.

According to Pit Crew Traffic Reporter Chris Scott, deputies did not find anyone inside the vehicle and were searching the river banks to see if the driver was nearby.

The car was discovered about 8:30 a.m. in the river off of Tilly Road near North River Road.

There is no word yet where the car came from or if it was stolen.
