Sunny Sunday, Rainy Monday - FOX Carolina 21

Sunny Sunday, Rainy Monday

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

We will see skies remain mostly clear overnight as temperatures drop down into the mid-50s across the upstate and upper 40s for western North Carolina. Winds will continue to come out of the south on Sunday ushering in the warm temperatures to end off the weekend.

Sunday will host sunny skies and above normal temperatures with highs in the mid to upper 70s area wide. Sunday night will likely see an increase of cloud cover as a cold front approaches from the west.

The work week will kick things off with cooler temperatures along with the chance of rain as well as a possible thunderstorm as a cold front enters the region. Rain will likely continue on Tuesday before clearing out by mid-week.

With pollen counts being so high, the rain may be just what the doctor ordered for those of us with allergies.
