A 25-year-old Greer woman has died after being ejected from a car on I-26, according to Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger.

Clevenger identified the victim as Jessica Ramirez-Dela Rosa.

Troopers said the crash happened near mile marker 6 when the driver swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway, and then ran off the road and flipped over just after 10 p.m. Saturday.

Clevenger said Ramirez-Dela Rosa was thrown from a car. She had been riding in the back seat.

Clevenger said the victim was not wearing a seatbelt and was airlifted to the hospital where she was pronounced dead at 11:30 p.m.

Troopers said the driver and two other passengers were also hospitalized.

Troopers said the crash remains under investigation.
