CLEMSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley said a second person has died after a collision near Clemson on April 12.

Troopers with the SC Highway Patrol said the single-car crash happened around 7:15 p.m. on West Queen Street, when a Kia Sorrento ran off the road and hit a tree.

Kelley said Aaron Eskew, 30, of Anderson, was found dead inside the car when authorities arrived.

Eskew was a passenger in the car and was wearing his seat belt, Kelley said.

Kelley has not identified the second person killed in the wreck at this time.

Troopers said the crash remains under investigation.
