Neighbors concerned after man shot in broad daylight

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Neighbors are concerned about their safety after a man was shot in broad daylight on Harden Street in downtown Savannah over the weekend.

Investigators said Nathaniel Mullino was transported to Memorial University Medical Center in serious condition after he was shot walking along the street.

Neighbors said they did not know Mullino nor did they see the shooting happen. Some said they have heard that Mullino and the shooter had been arguing the day before, disputing over money but, the shooter's motive is still unknown at this time.

Neighbors said the shooter was riding a bicycle when he shot Mullino in front of his house. One neighbor who wanted to remain anonymous said she is very concerned about her family's safety because this is not the first shooting in the area.

"My child was outside, but he ran in and said someone was just shot. My biggest concern is that we have been constantly reporting shootings and what's going on in the area," said a neighbor.

Police are still looking for the suspect, if you have any information to call Crimestoppers at 912.234.2020.
