Bomb threat causes building evacuation at Clemson

CLEMSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Fike Recreation Center at Clemson University was evacuated after a bomb threat on Tuesday.

Robin Denny with Clemson Public Relations confirmed that officials swept the building and used bomb sniffing dogs to determine if there was anything to the threat.

Denny said the threat was called into Clemson police, who called university police.

University police sent an alert to all students and evacuated the building.

The building was deemed "all clear" at 7 p.m., according to the Clemson University Safety Twitter account.
