EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The suspect wanted by Easley police after they said he shot a man multiple times has been arrested in Georgia.

Easley police said Jason Larson, 32, was arrested about 1 p.m. Monday in DeKalb County, five days after he is accused of fleeing a shooting scene.

According to DeKalb County jail records, Larson was arrested on a fugitive from justice charge. Easley police said they do not yet know when he will be extradited and brought back to the Upstate.

Police issued arrest warrants on two counts of attempted murder after they said Larson shot a man multiple times at a home on Highland Road on April 9 and also shot at but missed a woman inside the home.

Larson and the victims were acquaintances, according to Major Tim Tollison. The victim was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
