Police: Missing French jogger found

MAULDIN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Mauldin police said they have found a French woman who was reported missing after she went for a jog Thursday morning and did not return.

According to police, the woman speaks limited English and she was not familiar with the area.

Police identified the woman as 63-year-old Dominique Pellisier and said she left a home she was staying with friends at in the Dove Haven Drive area about 8:30 a.m. and an hour later she had not returned.

Police said she was last seen leaving the neighborhood, turning right on Holland Road between Bridges and East Butler roads headed towards Mauldin Middle School.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office helicopter and K-9s were out looking for her and she was found about 2 p.m. at the McDonald's on Woodruff Road at Highway 14, according to Sgt. Ben Ford, with the Mauldin Police Department.
