BOILING SPRINGS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg County emergency responders were called to a submerged vehicle Thursday night in Boiling Springs.

Sheriff Chuck Wright said no one was found inside the car that went into a body of water off Mountain View Road near Old Kimbrell Road.

The Saturn SUV was pulled from the water just before 10:30 p.m.

Once the car was pulled from the water, Spartanburg County deputies said they determined the SUV was reported stolen from a Hickory Point store in West Pelzer.

Deputies do not know who dumped the vehicle in the water.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
