SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg police said three teens showed up at a friend's house with guns because the friend was talking "smack" and one of them wanted to fight.

Police said they were called to the friend's house on Collins Avenue after the mom called 911 when someone knocked on their door and then they saw guns through the window Sunday.

Police said they spoke with an older daughter at the home who saw two of the suspects and one of them pulled up their shirt, exposing the handle of a gun tucked into his waistband.

A 4-year-old child in the home saw the suspects and cried out to their mother because she was scared, police said.

When officers spoke to the boy at the home, he told them one of the suspects had called him saying one wanted to fight because he was supposedly talking "smack" about him.

Officers searched for the suspects and located two in the woods, who were armed with BB guns, according to police. They said one was 16 years old and would be taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Police identified the second suspect as 17-year-old Tommy Parks and said he was arrested on  three counts pointing and presenting a firearm. According to the police report, there was a third suspect who was also 16.
