NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A judge denied bond Wednesday for a suspect in a deadly North Charleston shooting, after police made two additional arrests related to the incident.

Samuel Euguene Bolger, 21, is charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, according to court records.

The shooting occurred Monday night at Sorentrue Avenue and Accabee Road. Witnesses told North Charleston investigators that four teenagers on bicycles were at that street corner when a gold SUV stopped near South Allen and Sorentrue, according to a police report. Police say Bolger exited from the rear of the vehicle and began shooting at the victims, hitting two of the teenagers. Once the shots were fired, the suspect fled towards Dorchester Road, authorities say.

Responding officers found 16-year-old Ty'Quan President lying in the yard with gunshot wounds to his chest and left arm. A second victim, wounded in the lower leg, was brought to the scene by friends, the report states. Both were transported to MUSC where President was pronounced dead.

The second victim appeared at Bolger's bond hearing, walking with a cane.

Authorities arrested Rayshoud Malike Washington, 17, and Tyrek Dajon Moody, 17, on Tuesday afternoon and charged them with misprision of a felony. Detectives say both teens provided false information to police about the actions of the suspect and his identity.

Washington and Moody were also in the gold SUV at the time of the shooting, police say.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NCPD at 740-2800 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
