Showers, storms move through Tuesday - FOX Carolina 21

Showers, storms move through Tuesday

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Watch for scattered showers this evening as a cold front marches across our area.

For everyone, the rain and isolated thunderstorms will stick around on and off through the dinner hour, moving out shortly after.

Meteorologist Nicole Papay said there was not much of a severe threat Tuesday, though a few storms will pass through with gusty wind and heavy rain. But there shouldn't be enough energy in the atmosphere to spark severe alerts.

Winds were gusty through Tuesday afternoon. Showers and storms are pushing east Tuesday evening, and it will remain on the windy side. Cooler temperatures will filter in for Tuesday night.

Morning temperatures on Wednesday will be in the 40s area-wide, but plenty of sunshine will help us warm to 73 in the Upstate and 67 in the mountains by Wednesday afternoon.
