Several Asheville roads will be closed through Monday as Moogfest takes over town.

The outdoor stage and art exhibits during the festival will close Broadway and Lexington Avenue between Starnes Avenue and Hiawassee Street from 6 p.m. Thursday to 12 a.m. Monday.

The Interstate 240 onramp will remain open with the Asheville Police Department regulating pedestrian crossings during operating hours.

Additionally, Hiawessee Street will be closed between Flint Street and Rankin Avenue until 6 p.m. Sunday for events going on at the U.S. Cellular Center.

Moogfest runs through Sunday and features a conference and live music performances featuring electronic music. The event is named after Dr. Robert Moog who revolutionized synthesizer and electronic music, with his company Moog Music based in Asheville.
