Police say Union man killed stepdad with ax, knife

UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Union police have filed another charge against the man accused of killing his stepfather, revealing he used an ax as a weapon.

Police arrested Travelle Burros, 41, on the charge of murder following the death of Raymond Davis, 61.

Davis' body was found in a wooded area near his home on April 16 after police determined him to be missing. Burros was arrested the next day.

According to Burros' murder warrant, he hit Davis in the back of the head with a blunt object then hit him in the neck with some type of sharp object, killing him.

Police have now charged Burros with possession of a weapon during a violent crime. According to the warrant, Burros used a knife and ax when he attacked Davis.
