EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

An 81-year-old man reported missing from Easley has been located after walking into a museum in Canton, NC on Thursday.

Pickens County deputies said the family of Robert Price notified deputies Wednesday night that they received a concerning call from Price, who claimed to be lost and thought he may be somewhere in Georgia.

Deputies said the call was traced to an area near Cornelia, GA.

On Thursday afternoon, Price's family was contacted by an employee of the Canton Museum after he walked inside and appeared to be confused and lost, according to deputies.

An employee at the museum found a phone number for the family and contacted them.

The Pickens County Sheriff's Office was notified and contacted the Canton Police Department, who went to the museum where they found Price safe and unharmed.

Deputies said the family was on their way to pick up Price on Thursday.
