Deputies: Neighbor breaks into Marion woman's home

MARION, NC (FOX Carolina) -

A Marion man is accused of breaking into his neighbor's home and stealing electronics and cash worth nearly $1,000.

McDowell County deputies said the victim reported the break-in Jan. 3 and stole money, computer equipment, a phone and table worth $970.

As investigators followed up on the case, deputies said they identified a neighbor as the suspect.

Jerry Parks Jr., 31, was arrested and charged with one felony count each of breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.
