Victim 'uncooperative' in south Richmond shooting

A victim is recovering following a shooting late Sunday night in South Richmond.

The shooting happened in the 5000 block of Snead Road, around 11:30 p.m., near Broad Rock Boulevard. The call originally came in as a random gunfire report, and then turned into a person shot report a short time later, according to Richmond Police. However, when officers arrived on scene, no victim was located.

The victim showed up at a hospital a short time later with a gunshot wound. His injuries are considered non-life threatening. Officer are working with limited information, as the suspect is being uncooperative with questioning.
