GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville County coroner said a woman died after going into cardiac arrest Tuesday night at a home in Greer.

Police were called to the home on Winnjay Court where Lt. Chris Varner said a woman became combative with her family when police arrived.

Coroner Parks Evans said Deidra Reid, 36, of Spartanburg, went into cardiac arrest at the family member's home.

She was treated and taken to Greer Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to Evans.

An autopsy was performed on Wednesday but Evans said her cause and manner of death were still pending microscopic examination and toxicology analysis.

Varner said South Carolina Law Enforcement Division was called in to investigate.
