CLEMSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Clemson University will have a new play-by-play voice on the radio when football starts in the fall.

Don Munson, who currently serves as play-by-play voice of Clemson's baseball program, will take over football play-by-play job, replacing Pete Yanity.

Additionally, Munson will host weekly football and basketball coaches' shows in conjunction with the athletics video and communication departments in addition to other media and event-related activities.

Munson has worked full-time in the athletic department the past four years.

"This is a great opportunity and role for Don and I'm extremely happy for him," head football coach Dabo Swinney said. "I enjoyed working with and getting to know Pete Yanity and respect his professionalism throughout his time broadcasting our games."

Munson has been part of the Clemson radio network for the last 16 years.
