Deputies: 'Armed and dangerous' pair arrested in Asheville

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Two people who were wanted by Buncombe County deputies on several charges were arrested in Asheville on Friday night.

According to deputies, Amber Ingle, 26, was wanted on a felony possession of methamphetamine, a felony fugitive warrant and a felony governor's warrant.

David Adkins Jr., 35, was wanted on a driving while license revoked not impaired charge, felony possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by felon, trafficking methamphetamine and a pretrial release violation.

Deputies said they pair was armed and dangerous when they were wanted.

Lt. Randy Sorrells said they two were arrested without incident at 7:45 p.m. after a joint operation between the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office, Asheville Police Department, State Bureau of Investigation and the US Marshal's Service.

They were transported to the Buncombe County Detention Facility to face the charges.
