ZZ Top, Lyle Lovett among acts headed to Biltmore for summer series

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

The storied, historic halls of the Biltmore Mansion are not the only thing drawing in guests this summer as the annual concert series offers music fans a range of classic, award-winning  favorites.

The 18th annual Biltmore Concert Series kicks off on Wednesday, July 30 on the South Terrace of the Asheville estate.

A mix of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers and Grammy Award-winning acts will perform during the sunset-timed series through August.

The full line-up features ZZ Top on July 30 then Steely Dan on Thursday, July 31. On Friday, Aug. 15, Three Dog Night and 38 Special will perform. Thursday, Aug. 21 features Steven Curtis Chapman and Third Day then on Saturday, Aug. 23, Boston - The Heaven on Earth Tour will perform.

The final show of the season is on Thursday, Aug. 28 featuring  Lyle Lovett and His Large Band and Emmylou Harris. All shows start at 8 p.m.

Tickets for ZZ Top, Steely Dan and Three Dog Night/38 Special will go on sale at 8 a.m. on May 7 while tickets for the remaining shows go on sale on May 14. All tickets may be purchased either on Biltmore's website, www.biltmore.com/concerts, or by calling 866-336-1255.
