GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A wanted man was taken into custody and another is still on the loose after officers from three agencies searched for them in Greenville on Monday.

The SLED Fugitive Task Force searched for the two men after they spotted them in a vehicle driving through the city. When they tried to pull them over, the men took off.

At one point, the vehicle hit a chain link fence at the corner of Oscar Street and Meadow Street, where the men got out and fled on foot.

Both Greenville police and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office assisted in setting up a perimeter in the area.

The driver, 21-year-old Patrick Bryant, was taken into custody and charged with failure to stop for blue lights.

Bryant is facing multiple charges including burglary, larceny and failure to comply with the conditions of bond, according to online jail records provided by the Greenville County Detention Center.

A spokesperson said the search for the other man continues.

SLED said the men are connected to armed robberies.
